Die zwei Franko-Amerikanerinnen Rosemary Standley und Dom La Nena (bürgerlich Dominique Minto) übertragen ihren selbstentwickelten Angang von Folk mit zwei sich ähnelnden Stimmen plus Cello auf ausgewählte Kompositionen, die von jahrhundertealten Traditionals über Klassik von Purcell und Fauré bis hin zu Jacques Brel und Pink Floyd reichen.
Die Provenienz der Lieder und auch das Cover-Artwork sind bunt, doch das Album hat verbindende Tönungen – alles ist hell, fein, verspielt, respektvoll und virtuos. "Ramages" ist ein Meisterstück zweier musikalischer Freigeister von außergewöhnlicher Klasse.
